Laura Wu

is based in London. She was a sales agent at GoldCrest Films, Executive Producer at Aktis, and now works as a freelance Producer


Chow Keung

Is a well known producer on the Chinese Indie circuit. His previous films such as Still Life have won Palme D’or at Cannes.


Marcus Wellendorf

has been a production designer on several German TV productions, as well as the Art Director on John Rabe, an award winning feature film set during the Nanjing Massacre, which is where he got his introduction to Chinese productions.


Carl Thelin

has more than 15 years of experience as a cameraman, director, and producer, working primarily in China. His camera work has been seen on the BBC, National Geographic Channel, and other international TV networks. He has also shot narrative short films for a number of independent directors, but The Land's Music is his first feature film as Director of Photography. He was born and raised in Taiwan and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.


Simon Whitfield

wrote the score for SKELETONS, which won the Michael Powell Award for Best New British Film at the 2010 Edinburgh Film Festival. Previously, he collaborated on Nick Whitfield’s two shorts SKELETONS and REBECCA, from an early stage contributing to the development of the aesthetic that was eventually employed in the feature. He has spent much of the last twenty years dividing his time between the UK and the Far East, spending the most recent decade in Shanghai and Taipei, where he wrote the music for over one hundred TV advertising campaigns. High-profile commercial clients include AUDI, LEXUS, MAZDA, HONDA, AIR CANADA, SONY, TOSHIBA, PANASONIC, HITACHI, and MACDONALDS. He has scored several short films for Taiwanese and Chinese film- makers.
